About Recipe Card Generator
One tool, one job: turn any recipe into a single flowing card you can actually cook from.
Most recipe pages make you scroll between an ingredient list at the top and instructions at the bottom, holding the mapping in your head. A tabular recipe card removes that gap. Ingredients run down the left edge, and every mixing, layering, and cooking step is drawn as a cell exactly where its inputs meet. Read left to right and the whole dish assembles in front of you — the batter forming, the dry ingredients joining, the bake and the cooling at the far edge. One glance answers the question every cook keeps asking mid-recipe: what goes in when?
How it works
Paste a recipe link and the generator reads the page’s own structured recipe data — the same machine-readable ingredient lists and steps that recipe sites publish for search engines. It then matches each ingredient to the step where it first appears, detects separate mixing bowls and the moment they merge, and lays the result out as a merged-cell card. No account, no AI service, no server doing the thinking: the parsing, the drawing, the serving-size math, and cook mode all run as ordinary JavaScript in your browser. Pages that don’t publish structured data can be pasted in as plain text instead.
What you can do with a card
Rescale servings and every quantity recalculates into sensible kitchen fractions. Tap any cell to trace exactly which ingredients feed into it. Start cook mode for a step-by-step walkthrough with built-in timers pulled from the recipe’s own times. Save finished cards to your recipe box (stored only in your browser), print them, or export a PDF sized for letter paper or a classic 4×6 index card.
